Survey and evaluation state of timber structures

The thesis is focused on the assessment of two wooden roof structures of the building, which is located in Brno on the street Rumiště 8. Parts of the work are also theoretical knowledge of roof structures, building technical survey and diagnostic methods. Rating roof truss was based on a survey of sensory and instrumental methods. In the first step were measured dimensions of roof truss members and were determined roof structures. In the next section was researched damage of elements and his causes. Rehabilitation solution was established for each type of damage to the components resist any attack as long as possible. This report had been prepared for the property owner who plans complete reconstruction.
Implementation of a Prefabricated Reinforced Concrete Construction of a Part of an Administrative Building in Ostrava

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the solution of implementation of a prefabricated reinforced concrete construction of a part of an administrative building in Ostrava. This thesis contains a technical report focusing on the skeleton assembly, the situation of the construction with broader transport relations, bill of quantities, technological regulation, construction organization solution, time schedule, machine assembly design, control and test plan, safety and health protection on construction site plan and technological procedures of structural joins. The annexes contain drawings of the construction site facilities and the situation of the construction with broader transport relations.
Pevnost vybraných konstrukčních spojů s použitím modifikovaného dřeva buku

The thesis focuses on the influence of selected European beech wood modifications (Fagus sylvatica L.), i.e. acetylation and thermal modification at 200 °C and 220 °C, on the strength of structural joints used in the furniture industry. Based on the literature research, three types of structural joints were selected, which were subsequently tested. The strength of the glued joint was tested according to ČSN EN 205, withdrawal capacity of a screw according to ČSN 49 0135 and the corner screw joint. The results of the measurements were statistically evaluated using a one-way ANOVA and the measured groups were compared to each other. The results demonstrate that all types of modification lead to a decrease in mechanical strength. Wood acetylation lead to a statistically significant differences in the values for the glued joint. The thermal modification at 200 °C achieved statistically significant differences in the withdrawal capacity of a screw. The biggest drop in values came after a thermal modification at 220 °C, which were statistically significantly different when testing all selected joints. In the case of acetylation and heat modification up to 200 °C, it is not possible to unequivocally identify a method that showed significantly better results across all tests. Both metods of modyfying wood showed possibilities of use in furniture design. However, a decrease in the mechanical properties ofthe modifies material muse be taken into account when determining the dimensions of the structure.

The content of my bachelor's thesis is the solution for the implementation of a prefabricated reinforced concrete skeleton and its cladding. The work includes a technical report, site plan with broader transportation connections, bill of quantities, technological specification focusing on skeleton assembly, construction organization solution, schedule and workforce graph, machinery layout proposal, inspection and testing plan for the prefabricated skeleton assembly phase, safety and health plan for the construction site, budget for the specific phase, details of connections for the prefabricated structure and enclosure, and transport scheme.

This bachelor thesis describes the development of kitchens lines an emphasis on the use of modern materials and their processing. It is not just about modern materials, but also about the use of modern technologies in production, used on the front part of cupboards. It deals with the shapes of kitchens with solving the problems of blind spots, the use of dismountable construction joints and fittings non-dismountable. The annex of the work is a separate design of the kitchen using modern materials includening their processing.

The bachelor thesis deals with dining table furniture in order to create a functional table for eating. Part of the proposal is the condition of using waste material. The theoretical part deals with ergonomics, dimensional requirements and construction joints. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the testing of dining tables and trends in construction and materials. The practical part consists of the design and manufacture of a dining table for two persons based on the information obtained. The design includes drawing documentation, visualization and cost pricing. The output is the prototype of the designed table with detailed production description.

The main aim of the PhD thesis is to determine the influence of moisture on the me-chanical properties of furniture construction joints. The influence of moisture was examined in two groups of joints: glued joints along the length and corner joints with glued and mecha-nical fasteners. In both groups of tested joints, the joints were made of DTD, plastic and a combi-nation of these materials. Construction joints are tested for two environments with ap-propriate weather conditions, that the interiors of residential and public buildings - an envi-ronment with conditions t = 23 ± 2° C, WR = 45 ± 5 % and humid environment with condi-tions t = 23 ± 2° C, WR = 90 % (bathrooms, laundry rooms, swimming pools). Two types of mate-rials were selected, which were examined separately as well in their mutual combination. In the case of joints glued along the length, the load carring capcity of glued joint was determi-ned with two types of adhesives: epoxy and polyurethane. The highest values of strength were achieved with a material combination of plastic - plastic and a humidity of 45 % and 90 % using the PUR adhesive. The influence of moisture on the stiffness and the load carrying capacity of the joints was examined in the corner joints. In the case of corner joints, the influence of moisture on the mechanical properties was not confirmed , the decisive factor is influence of the bonded materials and the position of the fasteners.
